Hectic Day

Yesterday was a super hectic day for me..

My schedule for yesterday was non breather..
10.30am - Meet my US & Japan colleagues at Merchant Court
11:00am - Discussion
12:00am - Lunch
1:00pm - Meeting with Client 1
3:00pm - Meeting with Client 2
5:00pm - Meeting with Agent
6:30pm - Dinner
8:00pm - Drink at Raffles Hotel Long Bar

I sprain my right ankle while at client 2 office.. and suffer from gastric at 5pm.. Lucky Curt was tired due to the jet lag and hectic schedule.. and we left Long Bar at 9pm.. reached home 10:30pm.. clear office email and contact airport office.. go to bed at 12.20am..

Dinner at Si Chuan Dou Hua Restuarant @ ParkRoyal Hotel.. was nice.. We had the set menu for 5.. it is at S$36.80++ per person

1) Four Delicacies Combination
- consider of spicy pork, sweet & sour prawn, long bean and the last dish that look like abalone (I think it is vegetarian style..or maybe some kind of mushroom.. not really sure)



2) Eight Treasure Sharks Fin & Seafood Soup (Green colour shark fin soup?? They added spinach and you only need to add pepper.. no vinegar require.. it was really tasty)



3) Spicy Seafood Combination (look like Thai curry.. and it goes well with the bun) My US Regional Director enjoyed this and he thinks that bun taste like some kind of marshmallow.. that was really funny!

4) Silver Cod Fish in two style (aiyo.. this one is damn good.. but I forgot to take pic)



5) Crispy Diced Chicken with Sweet Sour Paste (I was already full.. so just eat the green pepper and 2 bits of the chicken)



6) Stir-fried French Bean with Minced Meat



7) Sichuan Dan Dan Noodle (damn spicy.. it just burn your stomach)



8) Mango Pudding with dry ice..

Dear M's booked Siam Kitchen for dinner on Friday at Bugis.. really need to eat and relax after such a hectic week..

We had tom yam seafoods soup, sambal kang kong, thai otah in crab, sambal mussels and dessert is fried banana fritters with vanilla ice-cream..

After dinner, we went to Grapevine for a red wine and vodka green tea..

Injured Waist

I injured my waist.. went x-ray at Raffles.. X-ray looks fine but I needs to wear the waist support for a while.. Doc wants to give me jab to ease the pain but I refused..

Lucky she find the MMS very funny.. only got flowers and puppy toy.. no necklace.. I think I really work until blur liao.. If she didn't tell me, I will probably throw it away as I thot it was a sponge.. 2 of my colleagues asked me today what is that and I told them that it was sponge.. 1 of them even says I think that is a chocolate.. but I keep saying is a sponge *sotong*..

Darling confessed that she got my office address from Meow Meow..

Birthday Treat

Had my birthday dinner at Al Dente Trattoria at Colors By the Bay, Esplanade.. They served authentic Italian foods.. sitting at the roof top.. over seeing the water.. wonderful atmosphere and ambiance.. it a elegant place to chat and dine.. the service is also very good..

We had appetizer, main course, dessert and red wine... It took us 3.5 hour to complete the dinner..



Live green Tasmanian mussels in pinot grigio infused with garlic shellfish broth at S$22.00.. This one is a must to try!! Damn good!!!



Marinara Spaghetti with slipper lobster, clams, prawns, squids, fishs & mussel at S$26.00



Wood Fired Hawaiian Pizza at S$18 (thin crest.. one of the popularity.. it comes topped with chunks of pineapple and bacon instead of the usual chopped ham)..



Bittersweet Chocolate Fondue at S$16 (premium melted Belgium chocolate, served with skewers of seasonal fruits and marshmallows, topped with a single scoop of homemade Gelato).. my saliva drop when I place my order for this.. It's simply divine!



Red wine at S$12 per glass.. (their wine list features close to 40 labels from Italy, Australia, and the US. The wines are categorised according to their strength, from light to full-bodied. We have Luis Felipe Edwards Pupilla Carbernet Sauvignon 2005/2006.. it has a fruity taste)

Total cost: S$123.50.. we have a S$50 voucher.. so actual damage is S$73.50.. haha!!

Had lunch with Genin and Rachel at Flavors & Aromas @ 20 Craig Road.. Rachel is back from France for two weeks holiday.. she will be flying off on 04Jul to Boston for a short course and back to France for her Master..

Genin choose the place.. she is regular there and have hold several function with them.. it was a nice place but they only served lunch..

I had 3 course set lunch at S$18+ inclusive of soup (cream of chicken with celery), seafood spaghetti (shrimp, sotong & clams) and dessert (vanilla ice-cream, fruits & I don't know what is the last items.. taste like some pudding).. but overall.. it was yummy and the seafood is so fresh.. the decor of the foods make it so appetizing..



I finish everything.. It really taste very good.. I also had a coffee.. it taste very smooth.. highly recommend place for lunch..

I'm having fever... 37.4C.. my body is getting hot and my head is spinning..

Wake up this morning.. with headache and feel like the whole house spinning.. went to washroom to wash up then realised that my nose was bleeding..

Lotsa of work to clear... so die die must go back to office.. & I was thinking should I drive or take bus.. actually I miss the bus journey.. can relax and listen to my ipod.. in the end, I still drive to office :(

hp ring as I was driving this morning and I didn't realised that my car swing from lane 2 to lane 1 while I was checking out my hp.. lucky this few day, slow traffic and there was no car on that lane.. otherwise I will probably be in hospital now.. really need to concentrate when I drive..

Birthday Celebration

Dinner with Amanda L, Evelyn, May and Shirley at Cafe Vic at Carlton Hotel to celebrate May & my birthday..



I had caesar salad, shark fins soup, steak, yong tau foo laksa, pepper crab (suck!), shrimp, mussel and tuna & salmon sashimi.. a little bit of everything.. and I really mean little bit (1 slice of salmon, 1 slice of tuna sashimi etc).. cause I don't really have appetite.. I skipped dessert as it was durian festive.. everything is durian.. durian bo bo cha cha, durian puff, durian mousse, durian cake.. after the dinner, we moved out to the open area for "real" durian.. I almost die at the table :(

Took a cab home after dinner as I didn't drive..

Jah-Moh-Ka in Geneva

Moh has moved to Geneva, Switzerland.. enjoying his new job and Geneva sunshine now.. I hope he will fly high.. we are now having time different again.. when he was in the US, we take one day to reply each other email.. when he was in Japan, we chat all day during work.. now he is in Geneva, I can only get his reply.. maybe after 2.30pm (that will be Geneva 8.30am).. I really miss his nonsense very much.. we can urge and fight in our conversion.. urge until the cow comes home.. it is always nice to chat with him..

Moh don't have a handphone line now as he does not have a residential mailing address in Geneva so I cannot text him.. I think it is not easy to find a house in Geneva so he really need to work hard searching.. I'll go visit him when he settle down and I want him to bring me to France.. hehe!

And Moh brought this CLK320 2 door coupe version of the E-320 in Tokyo for USD 20,000 and this baby will be ship to Geneva.. so beautiful and he asked me to go visit him and maybe he'll let me drive.. I'm sure I'm going to drive this baby.. if I don't get to drive when I'm in Geneva.. I'll destroy it.. wahaha!! :P

Had dinner at Pasta Mania @ bugis before proceeding to clubbing at St James till 2am..



Caesar salad (my fave), clam chowder soup, garlic bread, seafood fusilli and marinara spaghetti

Dragonfly @ St James powerstation was crowded crowded.. super crowded.. lucky we were early.. enter just 2 mins before 9pm.. so entrance is free since it is within happy hour.. No table.. it was all full..and super lots of people.. a waiter managed to get a side table and seats for us to place our drinks..

We were at dragonfly listening to Chinese live band.. Sylvester Sim/Singapore Idol runner up sang very well.. he wear a black singlet.. which looks cool. We left dragonfly at 1am.. was supposed to go meet Helen at Movida but the re-entry queue was super long.. try my luck to go by the back door (next to the wash room) but the security refused my entry when I told him I was going to go to Movida :(

We went walk around The Boiler Room & Gallery Bar.. then proceed to powerhouse to meet Fabian.. by chance I bump into Gary.. Had a glass then we decided to make a move..

White Shirt

Finally.. I brought something from this shop.. went to their different outlets several times and it is either last piece or no size.. so never managed to get anything from there.

I saw this shirt at AMK hub.. love it so much but it was a last piece and I hate it.. the sales girl told me that I can make payment 1st and they will transfer stock from warehouse to shop. I didn't want to pay first even tho I was sure I'm going to get it.. I just don't understand why they never help to check stock from other shops and if I want to reserve it.. I've to make payment first. They just want the sales immediate..

Found the correct size and brand new piece in PS. I didn't like the white ribbon.. I will use other colour ribbon or belt to replace it..

I was sick on Sat & Sun.. Sleep, take med and drink lotsa of liang teh.. thot I would recover by Mon.. but I ended up with a medical leave on Mon as my head was so painful and spinning.. Beat my record of no MC.. I haven't take a MC for the past few years :(

A New Day

31.05.07 marks an important day for us at work.. My company has completed the restructuring process.. successfully emerge from bankruptcy.. Big celebration today at office.. breakfast, lunch and snack are all catered..

Curry Fish Head Dinner

Yummy dinner by Dear M's mummy.. Her curry fish head is so super delicious.. a little sour and very spicy.. caramari is chewy and crunchy.. I had a big plate of rice :P

Foods Fair

Went to Singapore Expo for foods fair with mum and our designated driver cum maid.. I don't have confident to drive cause of the crowd.. sure karan-kapok :)

We had breakfast at Bedok.. so full that we don't think we can take in anymore foods at the foods fair.. The fair open at 11am.. the car queue is so long.. the cisco police seal up some of the exist and entrance which I think it make the situation worst.. Lucky I'm not the driver.. otherwise I will be so hot up!! But we are consider early bird.. so there are still plenty of parking lots..

Wah.. so many things to see, eat, buy.. we had a great time.. Mum is like a walking directory.. she know the price as compare to outside.. so we can easily figure if they are cheaper or not :)

We had shark fins soup, peking ducks, braised pork bun, liang teh, bak kwa, saba teriyaki, ikan billis chilli, white coffee, soft drink.. etc.. so many foods.. just feel like everything also must eat and everything also must put inside the tummy..

In the end, we brought ikan billis chilli, thai chilli, 2 original fish cracker, 3 wasabi fish cracker, 2 mango salad, 1 seafoods salad, 1 moshi ice cream, 2 boxes of red bean ice cream, 3 tau hua, 1 yam paste, 5 packs of japanese frozen foods (chicken teriyaki, black pepper chicken, unagi, chicken balls, octopus), 1 bots of fuit juice.. Majority of it belong to mum :O



That is not all lor.. mum and me are holding 1 bag each..

Lucky Jie Jie didn't come along.. otherwise I think there will be more stuffs to carry.. cause she also another shopping queen.. She always behave like she come down from mountain top.. so once she got chance to buy.. she will buy and buy and buy...

Mum plan to go again with Bro D on Mon and Jie Jie will go with baby Unique on Tues..
