Appreciation Nite

Attended the "American Express Annual Travel Appreciation Night" last nite at the Novotel Clarke Quay.. It was a sit down 4 course western dinner.. salad, soup, main course and dessert.. I had only 2 course.. the salad and red snapper (main course).. cause the rest of the time I was busy chatting with Amex girls and my corp. client.. my name card was grabbed up even before the end of the dinner..

We sponsored 2 economy class tickets to Tokyo which make us the 2nd prize. My GM and myself attended the dinner.. we sit on the 1st table and apparently that is a VIP table with LH, World Hotels, Preferred Hotel Group, Amex head of client management and Amex VP for head of business travel... so that make us a "non-disturb" table.. we are free from all the games and going on stage.. Hate to go up and be monkey.. to entertain the crowd..



Turkish dance.. and impersonator (he is so good.. he impersonate Michael Jackson and Elvis very well.. He is an Ang Moh but can sing hokkien songs)



Those 2 guys in black suit are from FM 98.7.. My GM actually wanted to sabo me.. He wants me to give away the 2nd prize.. but too bad lor.. I'm the most naughty staff that he have.. so no way I'm going to listen to him.. haha!!

Dinner ended at 11pm.. My client gives me a lift to Potong Pasir MRT.. Can't get a cab from there.. had to make do with MRT home :(

Overflow Gelato

Went jalan jalan at Kovan Hub and Heartland Mall.. had my favourite gelato.. yoggi and gianduia flavour.. I told the guy in the shop that I'm a regular so he gave me a "mountain size" gelato.. The aunty eating her gelato next to the shop.. must be damn jealous when she see mine!!

Treasure Hut

Dear M, mummy and me had breakfast at Bedok Interchange hawker on Sunday.. We had our favourite yong tau foo.. After breakfast we accompany mummy to Hair Inn to get her hair color.. 3 person choosing 1 hair color.. can imagine how much noise we make in the shop.. I even told the hairstylist that if the color effect does not appear what we choose.. we will tear down his shop.. cause he is doing the Empress dowager's hair leh!

After settling mummy's bill, we went swimming in Bedok.. It was a treasure hut swim for me.. I found fish bone, fish meat and plaster in the pool.. 1st, I found fish bone.. I thot my eyes playing trick on me.. so I reconfirmed by going into the water to check.. then I told Dear M that there is fish in the pool.. he thot there is a dead fish.. When he saw it, he feel like throw out! Next, I found fish meat.. it looks so pale, it must be soaking there for many days..

I can't swim anymore.. cause my mind is so preoccupied by the fish.. Every lap that I swim, I start to treasure hut.. my whole mind was just to search for more funny thing in the pool.. I was hoping to find the fish head and tail.. haha! It was disgusting!! If my camera phone can put inside the water.. I would have taken a photo as memory.. haha!

Fish & Co

23.11.2006 - monthly outing with my usual kaki.. Amanda L, Evelyn, May and Shirley.. This time we chose to meet at Fish & Co.. Evelyn and Shirley were sick but they still make it.. look how important is our gathering.. hee!hee! It was fun.. as usually we "GOSSIP" & "Complaint" about everyone except us! wahahah! This is our way of relaxation for our stressful day..


Clam Chowder soup (with lotsa clam & seafood), Jungle Freeze (damn huge), seafood platter for 2 (actually can eat 4) & the leftover..

Eyelash Extension

I was considering whether to perm my eyelash or do an eyelash extension. I'm finally did it.. "eyelash extension".. It is such a bargain so I thot I should give it a try... at least I tried it before.. Now I don't have to curl and apply mascara for the next 2 months :) My eyes look so much BIGGER!!

Painful Journey Home

I had a painful journey home yesterday.. I was suffering from gastric pain.. try to get a cab but nothing was available due to peak hour.. I had to take MRT.. from east line, transfer to north south line, transfer to north east line and then to LRT.. It was a painful journey to work this morning due to the bus breakdown.. It is a painful journey home.. I’m really down to my ass luck on Friday.

Convocation

Darling Vanessa and my convocation is on the 26 Nov 2006, it will held in Victoria Threate at the Empress Place.. but we are not attending the ceremony.. I do miss the school days.. We burn midnite oil to prepare for our exam.. and those days that we rushed for our project and dissertation.. After all the hard work, we finally got our pay back.. BSc (Hon) in Business - 2nd class upper honor :)

We plan to get our own photographer to take pictures for us..

Yellow Clothes

I just received an email from the project leader who is organizing the meeting in BKK..

"As you will be in Thailand on Monday, traditionally people try to wear the color Yellow in honor of the King's 60 year rule. So on Monday, December 4, bring along some Yellow clothes to wear and join in the support of Thailand's beloved king"...

What has his birthday got to do with me? I do have a Victoria Secret yellow color panty.. maybe I should wear that in honor of the beloved King.. or I should buy 1 yellow dress and expense it to my company.. haha! :)

Bus Breakdown

The SBS bus that I took this morning broke down along Pasir Ris outside UMCi.. What a lucky day? It was already struggling while on the TPE highway.. It should have breakdown along the highway.. then I will get to take bus 27 to Tampines.. Once that bus moved into Pasir Ris, I'm only left with 1 choice *arghh*.. It was frustrating, hot, stuffy and crowded.. The bus driver gives each a free ride coupon which is valid for a month but most people use it to board the next bus to their destination. I pity those who board the bus after UMCi bus stop this morning, cause the bus is damn FULL.. In the morning rush hours although the bus frequency is regular but it is so damn crowded.. Wasted quite a bit of time waiting for the bus.. feel so sticky and tired now..

Reached office at 8.55am.. not late tho.. but also no breakfast :(

Nightmare

My nightmare will start next week...

2 of my colleagues are going to BKK for meeting next week.. I just heard my manager taking leave starting tomorrow.. She will be in office on & off next week.. All rushing to clear their last year vacation days.. *bitter smile* :(

I've tons of work to clear.. and me too.. I'm leaving for BKK on 03Dec for meeting.. how to complete all my works and theirs before I go??

Baby Julian is 4m Old

Baby Julian is 4 months old on 20.11.2006 and he had his first hair cut..

He is so sweet.. I feel like eat him up..

Julian, your mummy owe me 1 bite leh.. some more she bite me on my face when I was a baby.. I can finally take my revenge.. I'm going to bite you someday.. hee!hee!

Sesame Bread with Spam

I passed by a bread shop along Pasir Ris MRT this morning and brought a huge sandwich for breakfast.. They have different variety of breads.. sambal chicken bread, chicken with mushrrom, sushi bread etc.. all looks so nice.. maybe I'm really hungry...

Sesame bread with spam.. got lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise.. I just love spam.. I know is fattening and unhealthy :(

French Musical

I've got 4 tickets to the Notre Dame de Paris, Singapore's First French Musical Spectacular.. for the last show on 19 Nov 2006, 3pm at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.. Per ticket price S$198 + S$2 sistic booking fee..

Dear M, Darling Vanessa, Cutie Johnie and myself went for this musical.. The duration of the musical is 2.30hrs with 20 mins interval.. The musical is in French with English and Chinese subtitles..

They sang very well.. It was a beautiful musical except we don't understand a single French.. we have to read the subtitle.. After the musical, we went to East Coast hawker for dinner.. We had BBQ chicken wings, satays, hokkien fried prawn mee, oysters omelette, spring roll.. follow by milk shake and McFurry from East Coast Mcdonald.. We had a great time at the carpark enjoying our dessert and playing with cutie Johnie's car. I like his car so much.. cosy & comfortable.. got sofa behind with 2 x big cushions for me to hug..

The Day! Exclusive Screening

Finally the day of the event (17 Nov 2006, Fri).. The exclusive screening of James Bond - Casino Royale.. Everything went well.. Jumbo hotdogs and coke for give away..

Vannie/AF, Wynne/KE and myself handled the reception.. Well organized! Tickets were given out smoothly.. Show started at 7.15pm.. most seated around 7.00pm and watched our advertisement.. Jack/KE, Wynne/KE, Kelly/AF and myself stuffed ourselves with jumbo hotdogs.. and the cinema manager gives us 3 free pop corns.

Macaroni Cheese & Sunflowers

I went to Cold Storage at CP on Thur.. I love to go super market.. can enjoy air condition and browse around.. but I usually ended up buying something..

Marcaroni Cheese? Something new.. on promotion at S$1.75.. This is darling Rozana's flavour.. There are many other instant pasta available but I'll try this first..

Sunflowers, dwarf size.. don't know if it will grow.. I don't really have green finger..

New Clothes

Even since we moved office to kampung area.. I haven't been shopping.. save money? I don't think so.. I was at Raffles Place for meeting 3 weeks ago.. Shop after the meeting with my manager.. I got 2 tops and 1 skirts from OAMC.. Total damage: S$120+.. not too bad! I need to dress nicely... to motivate myself to work everyday :)

I still have 1 pair of shoe from Pazzion that I've been aiming for a while.. Only S$69.. should I buy it or not.. I'm fighting with myself.. Left brain says YES, Right brain says NO.. HOW?? I'm struggling..

Depress

US Embassy called this morning.. to check if an American citizen who is a destitute boarded the plane this morning back to US. When you travel oversea for holiday.. it is always happy.. How did he end up penniless? Was he cheated?

Not sure what happen to me recently.. even the slightest things make me feel depress.. Where are all the beautiful things that I’m suppose to see and look forward??
