French Musical

I've got 4 tickets to the Notre Dame de Paris, Singapore's First French Musical Spectacular.. for the last show on 19 Nov 2006, 3pm at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.. Per ticket price S$198 + S$2 sistic booking fee..

Dear M, Darling Vanessa, Cutie Johnie and myself went for this musical.. The duration of the musical is 2.30hrs with 20 mins interval.. The musical is in French with English and Chinese subtitles..

They sang very well.. It was a beautiful musical except we don't understand a single French.. we have to read the subtitle.. After the musical, we went to East Coast hawker for dinner.. We had BBQ chicken wings, satays, hokkien fried prawn mee, oysters omelette, spring roll.. follow by milk shake and McFurry from East Coast Mcdonald.. We had a great time at the carpark enjoying our dessert and playing with cutie Johnie's car. I like his car so much.. cosy & comfortable.. got sofa behind with 2 x big cushions for me to hug..

The synopsis..
The musical is faithful to Victor Hugo's original novel "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", unraveling the story of Quasimodo, the bell ringer of the Cathedral of Notre Dame, who is an ugly hunchback but has a beautiful mind, Esmeralda, an attractive gypsy woman, and Frollo, the provost of the cathedral who falls victim to a desire for love..

The Day! Exclusive Screening

Finally the day of the event (17 Nov 2006, Fri).. The exclusive screening of James Bond - Casino Royale.. Everything went well.. Jumbo hotdogs and coke for give away..

Vannie/AF, Wynne/KE and myself handled the reception.. Well organized! Tickets were given out smoothly.. Show started at 7.15pm.. most seated around 7.00pm and watched our advertisement.. Jack/KE, Wynne/KE, Kelly/AF and myself stuffed ourselves with jumbo hotdogs.. and the cinema manager gives us 3 free pop corns.

Macaroni Cheese & Sunflowers

I went to Cold Storage at CP on Thur.. I love to go super market.. can enjoy air condition and browse around.. but I usually ended up buying something..

Marcaroni Cheese? Something new.. on promotion at S$1.75.. This is darling Rozana's flavour.. There are many other instant pasta available but I'll try this first..

Sunflowers, dwarf size.. don't know if it will grow.. I don't really have green finger..

New Clothes

Even since we moved office to kampung area.. I haven't been shopping.. save money? I don't think so.. I was at Raffles Place for meeting 3 weeks ago.. Shop after the meeting with my manager.. I got 2 tops and 1 skirts from OAMC.. Total damage: S$120+.. not too bad! I need to dress nicely... to motivate myself to work everyday :)

I still have 1 pair of shoe from Pazzion that I've been aiming for a while.. Only S$69.. should I buy it or not.. I'm fighting with myself.. Left brain says YES, Right brain says NO.. HOW?? I'm struggling..

Depress

US Embassy called this morning.. to check if an American citizen who is a destitute boarded the plane this morning back to US. When you travel oversea for holiday.. it is always happy.. How did he end up penniless? Was he cheated?

Not sure what happen to me recently.. even the slightest things make me feel depress.. Where are all the beautiful things that I’m suppose to see and look forward??

I saw a disturbing scene this morning that affected my mood.. I decided to skip breakfast..

At PL MRT station this morning, I saw this guy who looks a little low IQ asking for S$1 from every passerby.. He says he need S$1 for bus fare.. Is he desire for money, or greed for money?? Not many gives.. Maybe 1 out of 20.. Does this mean Singaporean have no sympathy? Would you give him that dollar? If you give, are you falling into his trick?

Ferrari

I received a call from my brother on Sunday… He says mum wants a Ferrari from Shell. I’m in shock! Why would mum want a Ferrari model car??? She is not a Ferrari fan, not a F1 supporter, not a car lover and not even a driver.. And the best of all, none of us pump Shell petrol.. According to my brother, you need to pump 22litres of petrol and pay S$2.95 for the Ferrari model car.. he seem to have done some homework ;-)

I called Xin at 1.30pm to check if his friends pump Shell.. By 3.55pm, I received a surprise MMS..

Ferrari driving towards you.. hehe!

So mum.. your godson got you the Ferrari.. :-P

Exclusive Screening

I've another project on hand... It is the exclusive screening for the movie James Bond - Casino Royale.. This morning, I went to Orchard Cineleisure to do a trial run of the Skyteam commerical.. Everything went well.. *cross finger* .. hope nothing goes wrong on the actual day..

I did a site inspection at the Cineleisure.. There is a Cinecafe that serve affordable foods.. Look tasty and it opens till 3am on Sat/Sun/Eve of Public Holiday.. I want to go try the foods someday..

Invitation card to our client... no James Bond allowed... no copy right leh..

Got games and internet..

I also found out that they have another private room for function.. which link to a small cinema that can cater to 68 paxs.. I'm so excited over this event.. as I can meet with my kaki again for a Skyteam rendezvous.. ;-)

Vivo City

I went to Vivo city for dinner last nite... It is suppose to be the biggest mall in Singapore.. Shops are only on the 1-3rd floor and basement 2.. I took 1 hours and completed the place.. *surprise*.. Maybe I've been to even bigger mall before.. so this is chicken feet to me. haha! I don't find it great for shopping.. but the outdoor looks fantastic.. I can see Star Cruise and Sentosa from there..

The chef was previously from the popular Mandarin Hotel - Chatterbox.. but no queue leh..

Chicken taste good.. dark sauce taste better then the chilli sauce..

Btw, the "discrimination" sign board at the Candy shop is no where to be found. They probably learn their lesson and decided to take it out.. ;-)

Relaxing Nite

Went to NTUC yesterday.. brought tom yam instant noodle, salted fish dry noodle, condense milk and bacardi freeze peach..

Had my barcadi freeze at the balcony..

I drink the bacardi freeze peach.. read magazine.. surf the net.. and I finally went online to chat.. I've disappear from msn chat for awhile.. Not many frens online last nite but I had a short chat with Benneth, James & Johnie..

I think I knock off at around 11pm.. sleep like a baby.. too lazy to wake up this morning..

Weekend 11/5: Swim, Tan and Betting

Went to Aljunied to swim… the sun was not too hot but enough to get tan..

Dear M and me went to Aljunied market for wanton mee, swim and sun tan.. we even found a 3 months cardio boxing class... class is full for now but they will notified us for new class..

Used to come & eat wanton mee with mum and siblings.. The stall still exists and it is passed down to the children..

I even learned to bet on footballs for the 1st time in my life.. Dear M gave me a crash course on how to bet footballs.. Didn't know there are so many different ways of betting.. *EYE OPENING*.. We wanted to bet total goal and actual score... but look at the return, it seem like the popular demand payout really low and it is not worth the effort.. so we decided to do it in a daring way.. buy the one that have a better payout (mean less popular lah).. we took 4 total goals and 2-2 actual score for Spur vs Chelsea.. And we made a mistake in 1 of the bet.. was suppose to bet 2-2 actual score but when we colour the ticket.. we get so excited that we color 22 instead of the selection 18.. and we ended up buying the score 1-2 and for S$10 bet, the payout is only S$43.. so miserable.. For 2-2 score, payout is S$20.. so I bet another S$10.. if win, payout will be S$200..


My virgin bet... but I lost everything cos Spurs win Chelsea 2-1.. *unbelievable*.. Spurs never beats Chelsea on home ground for the past 19 years.. *sighz*

Saturday 11/4: Babysit Julian

I spend my Saturday baby sitting Julian..

Julian's activities everyday is sleep, drink milk and poo poo.. We took so many photos of this little darling.. including his poo poo..

At around 6pm, we decide to go shopping at CP but his inexperience mum actually forgot to bring sarong… so we have to rotate and carry him on our arm.. While shopping at Metro, Jie passed Julian to me and I smell something funny… follow by farting sound from his butt.. *OMG* our dear poo poo prince, poo poo again.. so we have to rush for the nursing room from 2nd floor to 4th floor. After all the rush, we continue shopping.. at around 7.10pm, we went to cold storage to buy some grocery… while queuing to make payment, I realized Baby Julian keeps smelling my breast… so I ask Jie, he think I got milk huh? Jie looks at her watch and scream… it feeding time.

While we rush home, he sleeps at my arm… such a peaceful look when he sleep… so sweet and cute.. really feel like eat him up!!

My arm is aching today after carrying a 6.3kg Julian for almost 2 hours..

Shameful Candy Shop at Vivo City

Unbelievable and insensitive sign by Candy Empire at Vivo City..

"Please do not bring your trolley or wheelchair into the shop"

It is discrimination against the physically disabled and elderly. Instead of putting up such sign, Candy shop should be offering additional assistance to wheelchair users.. How many wheelchair bound customer do you expect in a day? where is their customer service? where is their empathy?

We should boycott this shop that has a lack of understanding for people with physical disabilities..

Within this week, I went to KKH & SGH.

Monday was at KKH for papsmear and breast check.. wanted to do ultra sound but my gynae says only 40 years & above than need to do..

Wednesday was at SGH for dermatology.. I need to moisturise myself daily..

Inconsiderate Act

Last evening, I travel on MRT to City Hall… It was the super peak hours and the train is jam pack!! I was standing next to this inconsiderate a$$hole.. I feel like knock that fellow on his head and ask him to wake up.. "this is not your personal train, you are in a public transport, Idiot"!!

He hold 1 on his right hand and 2 on his left hand.. I’m left with nothing.. Lucky my balancing skill is good..
