Blue Hut

Went to Blue Hut with Dear M.. Love the place, people, drink and music.. btw, we tried the BBQ chicken wings.. it is super nice!

Sitting there drinking my fave Barcadi Freeze Peach and watching the airplane land… is so enjoying, relaxing and nice.

Brought this at Pasir Ris while going for dinner.. Pooh for me and Snoopy for Darling Vanessa.. no hello kitty.. otherwise I also want to get one for my sweetheart Meow Meow..

Packing Day

Office is in a mess!! Dusty & dirty.. We are finally moving to new premise.. Today is packing day.. just realized that I’ve tons of rubbish in office.. bears, dry flowers, plant, 2005 X’mas presents, magazines, bedroom slippers, shoes, clothes etc.. Office is like my second home ;-)

Bad mood last nite… sigh! Something must be wrong with me.. never seem to be able to get on with my life properly.

Was on msn chat last nite with Yann Jean, Benneth and Johnie.. It had been a long time since I last went online to chat. Benneth says the cookies I make very nice but too big for his mini cherry mouth.. ha!ha! That make my day.. Next time I will make mini cookies for him.. Yann Jean will be having her ‘O’ level exam early Sep.. “Jia You Yann Jean”.. I know you can make it with flying color.. promise I will buy you something for the hard work.. As for ah boy Johnie, we chat about his US trip.. btw, where is my present and treats? You owe me too many treats liao!!

Busy Saturday

Tried Xin Wang Hong Kong cafe... hooray!

Had lunch at 3pm.. Ordered mee sua with black pepper beef, mee sua with spam, french toast, chicken feet and ying yang drink.. eat until I bloated.. Love the foods.. will be back to try other stuffs!

Wanted to watch movie but no more good seats.. so went shopping again! Brought this jersey tee... so nice rite? That sting is for you to sling around you when you take off the tee at the beach (ok.. I imagine walking on the beach lah.. but how can you take off tee in Orchard road!!).. Cool rite?!

After shopping, nothing much.. not hungry so went to Marina South.. wanted to play pool but that place closed down. So roam around Marina South lor. Went to see people fishing... this place charge by hour for fishing and prawn fishing.. you can BBQ on the spot.. FRESH! Super FRESH! Must come with Darling someday.. Dear M can fish.. Darling Vane can BBQ.. I can eat!! wahahaha!

Drove to Le-Meridien hotel.. still thinking of playing pool... but FULL. Everywhere is so damn crowded.. Give up!! Went to Jalan Kayu for dinner... ice-cream prata and tissue prata.. nice.. very nice. The pricing is a little steep... ice-cream prata at S$6 and tissue prata at S$4.. revenue must be damn good.. some more that ice-cream is the cheap cheap one lor.. not even gelato.. Think I wan to sell prata when IR opens.. ha!ha!

Woke up at 7.45am today.. went downstairs for breakfast and got newspaper..

Talk to darling Vanessa, blog hop, check emails... not sure what’s my plan for today.. was suppose to be full of plan but too many changes.. sian liao.. dun feel like planning anymore.. just take it as it come.

I’m going shower after this.. go to CP with Tina for a walk.. then maybe head down to Paragon for some shopping spree..

Stress :-(

What a TGIF? This morning I had a meeting with my manager for 30 minutes.. after which I received a phone call from home.. My dearest bro is giving problem to mom once again. One min, he is good; next min, he is bad.. I’ve given him so many chance.. Forgive him every time he did something wrong.. but he never learn.. never grow.. always make us worry and giving us nothing but trouble. I scolded him over the phone bcos mom was nagging me.. I really don’t know how to educate him.. My mom is hopeless in teaching his own son.. She blame everyone for what her lan ch*$# son has done..

After the phone call, the whole team was called in for another meeting with my GM.. Big challenges for us ahead.. Plane issue, labor issue, load factor, pricing issue.. so many issues to work on.. Meeting just ended.. I’m hungry but no mood to eat. So I called Jie Jie.. apparently the water in her water bag is getting less.. the baby is ready to come out anytime.. but she does not have labor pain. Doctor suggested to admit her on Monday nite.. If she still cannot induce.. She may have to go for caesarean. I’m worry for Jie Jie.. Wonder how she is coping mentally.. she been hoping for a baby and she is still taking her depression pills.. I need to spend more time with her.. give her more care and concern..

And hopefully this is the last bad news for today… sigh! Tina is coming to Spore tonite.. I need to pick her up at 7.30pm..

I’m so stress up b’cos of mom, bro and jie. I just feel like crying… I’m holding back now… hope I dun go crazy.. Maybe I'll cry under my pillow tonite.. :-(

Thursday Nite: Chomp Chomp

Last nite, at the very last minute Dear M and me decided to go to Chomp Chomp for dinner… We ordered wanton mee and sambal sotong but that sotong stall helper forgot about our sotong. Maybe he went out sea to fish the sotong but we couldn't wait.. Noodle was quite good.. cause I jus love wanton mee.. The portion is not too big but was rather full cos I skip lunch yesterday and had a slice of pizza at 5pm. I was thirsty so M ordered super huge glass of sugar cane each.. this is the first time I had such a big glass of sugar cane.. Both of us couldn’t finish it.

It was a simple but satisfying dinner.. ;-P

Will stay home on Friday.. be good gal.. and I have a full day plan for Saturday.. ;-)

Ghost Town

The ticketing and reservation gals have moved out of current location for 12days already... miss all their loud noise, smiles, laughter, gossip and nonsense. We will be joining them in new office effective Jul 24, 2006.

Lunch with Jerry

Finally we had lunch with Didi Jerry after missing him for one month... so yesterday we went to Teng Tai Feng @ Wisma for xiao long bao... celebrate Didi one month in camp... ha!ha!

Jerry is so dark n fit now... he is still so photogenic... handsome leh!! Any girl interested.. he is still single.. but muz go through Vanessa and me. hee!hee! ;-)

Darling was craving for gelato.. so we went to Bravissimo @ CK Tang. I had my usual raspberry, Didi tried rum n raisin and Darling very greedy.. she took pepper mint and tiramisu.

Darling and myself went to Free Banana @ Wisma for tea... Darling had lavender tea.. I had camomiles tea with honey.. to relax and calm myself down.

Vanessa ordered 6 pcs chicken wings. Sorry hor… to me that is not 6 pcs lor. They cut the drumlets and the wings then count it as 2.

Lao Di Fang

I woke up at 7.15am on Sat instead of the usual 1pm on weekend.

Met dear M.. we went for breakfast at Bedok hawker center.. we used to live in Bedok... Miss the foods there so much!! I had my fave black carrot cake and M had yong tau foo. My tummy too small otherwise I also want to eat the chwee kueh.

After late breakfast, we went to Parkway Parade bcos we wanted to get something from my bro’s work place. Dun know how many donkey years never been to Parkway.. the place has changed so much. Used to roam around Parkway when I was young and my fave spots are the basement foods area and the 3rd floor game arcade..

what else.. shoppin again! Love the purple tee.. feel so Queen! ha!ha!

Darling Vanessa was also at Parkway with Leong Ho to do blood test. Was suppose to meet her but she don’t feel well after the blood test so Leong Ho send her home. I was very worry cause Darling was out drinking at New Asia Bar on Fri till 3.30am and she has anemic lor. Darling so weak already still insisted on attending a church wedding at 2pm... and she fell and sprained her ankle... sigh!

So swollen.. sob! sob!

M and me were craving for gelato… so we went to Siglap thot that place happening sure got Italian ice-cream.. to our disappointment.. nothing there..

I was hungry so we went to East Coast hawker center. That was around 4pm… I’m not really sure that was lunch or dinner.. but I suggested that we eat rice.. we had sambal sotong, sambal kang kong and zu zu. I was lousy at zu zu.. only managed to suck out 2 pieces. Darling Vanessa says I’m a lousy kisser bcos I cannot zu zu… and fyi, kissing has nothing to do with zu zu lor.. you don’t suck when you kiss. Chao turtle…

Took a stroll along the beach… so many activities there… roller blading, cycling, cable ski, wind surf, kayaking, sand castle building.. I want to try roller blading, cable ski and jet ski.. so fun!! On the way back, we drop by at SK to get gelato... yummy!! ;-)

Stupid bro-in-law went to Macau for holiday… I just cannot understand his thinking and mentality. Jie Jie is going to deliver soon. I heard from several frens that for this first born.. it usually arrive two weeks in advance. Even if Jie Jie is not going to deliver when he is away.. I think he should be around to give her support, help, care, concern…. She is in her final stage.. the baby is so big now.. she has difficulties moving around. Really feel like give him a slap to wake that b*stard up!!

World Cup Fever

Friday nite again... I was out with Darling Vanessa, Amanda, Mike and Leong Ho to watch Germany vs. Argentina. Since Vanessa was not able to get a table at Chamber.. We decided to go to Gobble @ Pasir Ris Fisherman Village.. AND WE WILL NEVER NEVER GO TO GOBBLE AGAIN!!!

Finally... we got Leong Ho! ha!ha!

The companions are so good although not all of us support the same team. Leong Ho & Amanda bet on Argentina whereas Mike and myself support Germany and Darling Vanessa is neutral. Of course, I had a good time when Germany wins!

The only unhappy incident in Gobble was that bossy woman…who refuses to give us an extra chair since we have one more fren joining us… The place was not even full yet. Finally we got the extra chair with the help of a waiter but that woman was not happy and she insisted that I point to her which waiter gives me the chair… And the most irritating was the way she try to show off. She is either stupid or super low EQ/IQ person. She actually scream to her bf/hubby… “Call all my waiters here.. I want to know who dare to take my chair” in front of all her customers. What are you trying to show? Tigress? Bossy? All these chairs belong to you.. then bring home lor.. why use your chair to do business? Think she forgot who pay for her living? Wake up *slap* If you want me to open bottle in order to give me your lousy, clumsy, big chair then fine… just tell me.. you need that money… I will open a bottle. Don’t forget I pay you for a living... I pray that your shop closed down man!!

Basically they dun noe how to do business.. The male boss was busy trying to set up tables and looking around for chairs for customers. And that woman is just trying to BOSS around. They should expect that this is a big game and everywhere is going to be full. Not till last min when you see crowd coming in then you start to take screw, hammer.. to set up table.

If you want a better place to drink... go to Blue Hut.. the view, atmosphere, music, people, drinks are so much nicer...
