Lunch Gathering

All the staffs were invited to George’s place for lunch today. He just renovated his home and spent around S$130K (including furniture). It is very nicely done up. The moment you step in.. you feel very comfortable.. it give you the feeling of a HOME.

I was too tired so only took 1 pic of the house.. this is the kitchen.. where the buffet line is. hee!hee!

This week

My work has once again piled up like a hump… soon it will turn into a mountain!

My schedule is so damn full this week… every night is almost till 10-11pm. I’m looking forward to this long weekend.. Happy Labor Day! I'm a damn cheap labor :-P

Bonding (April 14-16, 2006)

3days/2nites with mum to Genting (aka Asia, Las Vegas)… This is a wonderful, memorable and enjoying trip.

DAY 1
I woke up at 5.20 am to get ready *yawn*. The bus will depart at 6.30am so I booked a cab at 6am (to save on the midnite charge)..hee! hee!

We made it to the gathering place b4 6.30am. Still got time to take pictures... sky still dark dark and me still sleepy...

We departed for Tuas second link at 6.40am… so we chit chat for this first hour as everyone is still very excited. 7.30am we arrived at the Singapore custom... There wasn’t really long queue at both the Singapore and Malaysia check-point... maybe we are too early. We are early birds... so got worms to eat (aka. kiasu)

By 9.45am, we arrived in Yong Peng where the buses will stop for a break. I ordered a bowl of Famous “Yong Peng fishball noodle” for mum. She likes it very much.

The journey continues and everyone was sleeping onboard the bus (including me lah!). When we wake up.. it was already 12.15pm and we arrived in Seremban, Negri Sembilan for lunch. Lunch was at a Teochew restaurant.. arr.. I forgot the name. Anyway foods were good bcos I’m damn hungry.

Wait before pictures of foods... I saw this school bus just outside the restaurant.. it reminded me of “Forrest Gump’s school bus and the driver, Dorothy”

We took a deluxe room with our package... It shown here.. "Today Room Rate" Deluxe room at RM168.00... the next day when we came by.. it was already RM188.00... so rate are really for "today".. tomorrow is different. haha!

Waiting for the guide to get our keys... The lobby is so crowd.. like all the Singaporean run here to take cover...

Finally got the key to the room... I think everyone on that floor hear me screaming after check-in... WHAT NO HAIR DRYER??

Wahahaha! I got a new book...

"Sweep Tomb"

OMG… I overslept this morning.. Initial plan was go “sweep tomb” at 10am.. but I waked up at 10.15am. So we began our journey to visit dad and granny at 12noon. Which is the hottest time of the day lor.. so I’ve my tank top, short, slipper and sunnies on.

It was rather quiet this year at the Mount Vernon maybe because today is the last two days to sweep tomb… most have already done it or maybe many have shifted to the new place.

First, we pay our respect to dad with his favorite foods.. yong tau foo and pineapples.. Then we take turn to talk to him. Keep him posted on what we have been doing and the greatest news for him this year.. would be sister's pregnancy and we are expecting FIRST grandson soon!

Then we burned him some new clothes and money....

Next, we went over to pay our respect to granny. She is a Catholic so we placed some new flowers there. I missed granny's cooking.. Instant noodles with prawn, fishballs, vegetables etc... although a simple dish but there is lots of love in it! Probably I'm hungry.... *stomach groan*

Before we left, I told them.. dad & granny, we love you! See you again next year!

Driving Test

Meow Meow is having her driving test @ Bukit Bakot this morning 10am. *Loud Speaker* All drivers and pedestrians please keep clear of that area… so she can PASS. Ha!Ha!

Dad's Death Anniversary

Mom told me… today is Dad’s death anniversary (三月十四 or April 21). It was at that unearthly hours on that day two police officers came by with his shoe… bringing us the sad news that he is gone. That hateful accident that took him away from us…

To Papa, those who bloom in the hearts of others never fade away … we love and miss u always.

I'm a Lucky girl!!

Come to think about it… I’m such a lucky girl!

A girl at my age (young! hee! hee!)…. I’ve lovely family, caring friends, and a wonderful job.

My job allows me to see the world which not many have this great opportunity (except maybe flight attendants). I should learn to appreciate what I’ve and stop complaining. Not many people around me are as lucky as me.

To my friends… thank for being there always when I’m down. To my family… I love you all…

Friday Nite Out: Obar

Great time! Wonderful kaki on Friday nite.. Love them all!!!
Leo, Derek, Caroline, Vanessa and me had a great time on Friday nite at Obar. Derek brought his gal gal "Caroline" along..sweet, pretty and nice gal.

I think you all ordered too many drinks.. next time must control leh. Whenever I went out and return to the table.. there are like dun know how many 10’s of shots, Lamborghini, waterfall, jars of vodka with mixer, barcadi on the table… cheap drink also dun need to drown yourself right.

At the end of the party, we had one down and two thrown up... but everything under control by Leo. Thank to Leo and fren for sending Derek and Caroline home. If I was there to deal with this, I would probably let them sleep there. Ha!ha! Wonder how much does it cost to park Derek's car there all nite?

Saturday was a terrible hang over day for me... I was suffering from dehydration. Finished up all the water at home plus a bot of 1.5 litre coke light!

I want to watch GREASE

Cannot work today.. the word GREASE jus keep running in my mind. I want to watch it but no money! Sigh!! I should cut down on my expense this month to save money for this show.

Sis leaving for BKK

My sis is leaving for Bangkok this Friday. Can’t help but feel worry for her. She is already 5 months pregnant. Cannot stop her so can only pray for her safety. I’m feeling really down with work & family problem surrounding me… I really need to calm down and take it easy. Breath in!!

Progress Package

Watch the news… then realized that about 600,000 or 26% of the 2.3mil Singaporeans who qualify for the progress package already signed up on Saturday. I immediately jump up from my comfort sofa and log on to the computer.. Bloody hell… my family member already signed up yet they never remind me. Good… well done huh!

Muahaha! I signed up for the progress package liao … money on the way. Yippee!!

It was released on 03 March 2006 in Japan… I was in Tokyo from Sun-Tue, went to Sakura at Ikebokuro and got it at ¥41,515. I think it is a good deal and I got the Orange color.. muahaha! Cool right!

Clubbin Day!!

Last night was a super busy night for me...

First to Raffles Country Club for dinner with my colleagues, then rush to MoS to meet another group of frens, follow by Obar to meet another group... finally last stop DBLO till 2.30am. Reached home 3am and slept till 10am next day.. had my lunch and day dream... went back to bed cause the Zzz monster attacked me from 3.30-5.30pm. Now my eye tearing... trying to do an assignment for my galfren. My dear fren.. you are so lucky.. Me strugglin like hell now with my eye, brain and hand.

Last night was happenin, 3 guys tried to talk with me... they are nice and cute *rollin eyes* but I dun like the idea of being pick up at bar (so cheapskate lor)... be fren ok. hee!hee! Actually I also not sure if be fren ok cause the last time when I was in Tokyo, I gave a fake number to this guy who tried to talk to me. Hee! Hee! Feel kind of bad now. Anyway the best part of last nite was a lady wants to buy me a drink... wow.. I think I bi leh. Can attract both sex? ha!ha! The first reply from me was "WHAT" and then I say to her "Nope. Thank u". My fren was all shocked and worry for me.. pls lah. Me very straight.. only like MAN!!!
