Birthday Treat
Had my birthday dinner at Al Dente Trattoria at Colors By the Bay, Esplanade.. They served authentic Italian foods.. sitting at the roof top.. over seeing the water.. wonderful atmosphere and ambiance.. it a elegant place to chat and dine.. the service is also very good..
We had appetizer, main course, dessert and red wine... It took us 3.5 hour to complete the dinner..
Live green Tasmanian mussels in pinot grigio infused with garlic shellfish broth at S$22.00.. This one is a must to try!! Damn good!!!
Marinara Spaghetti with slipper lobster, clams, prawns, squids, fishs & mussel at S$26.00
Wood Fired Hawaiian Pizza at S$18 (thin crest.. one of the popularity.. it comes topped with chunks of pineapple and bacon instead of the usual chopped ham)..
Bittersweet Chocolate Fondue at S$16 (premium melted Belgium chocolate, served with skewers of seasonal fruits and marshmallows, topped with a single scoop of homemade Gelato).. my saliva drop when I place my order for this.. It's simply divine!
Red wine at S$12 per glass.. (their wine list features close to 40 labels from Italy, Australia, and the US. The wines are categorised according to their strength, from light to full-bodied. We have Luis Felipe Edwards Pupilla Carbernet Sauvignon 2005/2006.. it has a fruity taste)
Total cost: S$123.50.. we have a S$50 voucher.. so actual damage is S$73.50.. haha!!
