Aljunied
Mum used to bring me and siblings to Aljunied to visit grandma when we were kids.. Our itinerary for a weekend is usually breakfast (wanton mee) at the Aljunied market, swimming at Geylang East swimming complex, a movie at the cinema next door then proceed to grandma house for dinner.. Finally after years passed by, I’m once again back to my childhood playground..
Dear M and me went to Aljunied for lunch.. we had pork rib noodle, fish minced noodle and pasar style fried carrot cake.. only S$2 per plate with table service.. unbelievable price! After a hearty lunch, it started to rain so we went to watch basketball tournament (just next to the pool).. watched for 20 mins, the rain stop.. we went for a swim and sun tan.. The placed changed so much..

Nice kiddy pool..
Clean shower/changing room.. got separate area for changing inside the cubicle.. (can place your bag inside while shower.. no need to worry of being stolen or get wet)
I had a good tan as the sun was super strong.. We swim till 5pm.. dinner was at Kallang Airport.. We had the popular western bbq - sirlion steak and add a sunny sideup egg..
